| Cruising along an endless stretch of highway,
Dirt Road Law was formed on the idea, to not take the path
always traveled… so boring ... without change... and so
routine…
Instead, suddenly, and without warning, seeing the detour
sign, they turned the wheel, screech and skidded down a dirt
road where they pave their own way, no matter which twists and
turns they might encounter.
Set out with and old-school state of mind, Airn Blaze leads
D.R.L on lead vocals and his hair raising vintage guitar
riffs. Along side, renegade grade school chum Lanny Lee who's
followed true to his roots with his raw primitive vocals and
right down to his bottom-feeding bass lines. Billie Jean joins
the clan with humble harmonics and slinging in a few vocal
accents herself. But keeping them all warm and safe at night,
is the dynamic percussion locomotive Mike Moore, who’s
thundering drum assault keeps this tribe alive.
With wind in their hair, and sweat on their brow, Dirt Road
Law has plowed its way into the music scene. Like any enduring
journey they have had their share of potholes. But true to
D.R.L'S true nature, have still kept trudging on.
Since coming in a very close second in Southwest Florida's
Venice Battle of the Bands, this rising band has gained a
whole new popularity in local clubs, and venues in Southwest
Florida.
There is a kinship there in each one, an understanding too,
that sets them apart from the rest.
Their road has the same destination, just with slightly
different twists.
They have learned some lessons and gained some skills that
could only be learned there...
This road has taught them how rough life can be, and has
made them much stronger indeed. |
